2 May 2011 - 26 May 2011

By Hans Muller and Rob Slooten.

The main question in Muller's workshop was how everyday actions and utensils can be converted and used in music. There is a sound in everything.
Participants were asked to bring objects from everyday life to elicit music. Music compositions were made for everyday objects, where it was surprising of how many attributes sound could be extracted from.

In the workshop photography by Rob Slooten the participants were introduced to the way in which the photo camera “looks at the world” by means of a number of assignments. The participants were taught to look again and with an open expression at the reality around them and at the translation that the camera makes of this reality.

Both workshops resulted in the exhibition BEGoogELING, which opened its doors on 26 May.
