Albert Schoobaar is an actor, theater maker and writer from Curaçao and co-founder of the Curaçao experimental theater group Teatro KadaKen.
For the workshop at Ateliers ’89, Schoobaar and his students went in search of the interface between visual art and theatrical design.
During the workshop everybody worked towards short performances on the basis of current Aruban themes based on improvisation. The workshop ended with an evening of performances that were continuously staged across the entire grounds of Ateliers '89 for a very enthusiastic audience.
