Together with Razia you will investigate how art can not only be viewed, but also felt, smelled, remembered and tasted by stimulating all the senses.
The workshop is therefore entitled Unexpected memories through smellsโฆ She herself says about it:
โMy name is Razia Barsatie, originally from Suriname. In my workshop I want to share a Surinamese dinner with you that I will prepare for you. While eating this, we are going to draw, paint and create our unexpected memories that pups up with the ingredients of the food. These drawings or paintings and objects will in the end be an archive from our food culture. Are you exciting to get unexpected memories in sharing traditional food? Come and join my workshop dinner at Atelier โ89. Let us all draw the smell of the unexpected memories together and make it memorable.โ
