A multimedia workshop on painting and photography on the theme of self-portrait.
Under the heading “Two know more than one”, Nicole and Rem gave a workshop in making self-portraits.
Because the workshop was given by different teachers, the participants also gained insight into multiple painting styles and photography techniques with which a self-portrait can be made. Central to the workshop was the task of the participants to develop and sharpen their own way of looking at themselves. After all, learning to look carefully is the basis. After that, the assignments focused on the composition of the design, both in photography and in painting. The next step was to evaluate the forms thus combined and to delve deeper into their expressiveness. The technical aspects only played a supporting role in this. The main role was for the image and the development of a personal vision. The result was a spectacular exhibition.
