In addition to the development of the creative possibilities, the workshop offered the trainees the opportunity to increase their skills. Attention was paid to the theory of graphic design and the basic principles of the profession such as layout, fonts, spacing and editorial design. A number of lectures were also given in which - from the 1950s to the present day - leading designers and design collectives passed in review.
By means of short and long-term assignments, Kritis and the students went in search of a personal way of designing, both in form and content.
What is the research, what is the concept, what is the design, and how do you present it.
Each participant made a design that was shown in the final exhibition.
