By Yiannis Mouravas and Nicola Baratto

Nicola Barratto and Yannis Mouravas, from Italy and Greece respectively, have long been fascinated by archeology and myths and are exploring how they live on and are carried over to the future. This interest also concerns personal archeology and myths, which can be translated into dreams, for example. As artists they are looking for the possibilities that exist to materialize these invisible things through drawings and sculptures. With this in mind, the workshop participants set to work with the two residents to research their own personal archeology and dreams and convert them into drawings. Each participant made his own dream book in which a series of unconscious memories, dream images and personal myths were bundled as drawings.
