Dianthus On March 9, the program continued with a One Minutes Film / Video workshop by Dianthus and Taatske Pieterson, both associated with NEVERNEVERLAND and The One Minutes Foundation in Amsterdam.
The idea was again to enable all participants to have a number of one-minute films made that could also be viewed internationally through the various channels of the One Minutes Foundation.
At the same time, the Tricycle Collective ( Driewielerscollectief) , consisting of Angelo Custodio, Arthur Guilleminot and Pedro Matias, were a guest at Ateliers'89 as residents. This residency was realized in collaboration with NEVERNEVERLAND and was made possible in part by a contribution from the Mondriaan Fund.
The workshop had just started and the participants were enthusiastic when Covid-19 reached Aruba. All activities were discontinued for safety reasons. Teachers and residents had to leave the island in a hurry when it was announced that the airspace would be closed to air traffic for an unlimited period.
