Ateliers ‘89 is presenting a new conceptual course given by artist Raily Yance.
During the course he will teach you how to practice the process of observation, interpretation, production and distribution of different elements that makes the mundane life particular.
You will be able to learn how traditions take shape and how traditions shape our personas and how traditions influence our thinking. This course is a way to confront and think about our contemporary situation in an artistic way. This course is for those who are interested in Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Performance, Photography and New Media. In this course you will exercise the skill of interpretation and you will present a new work during a final exhibition at Ateliers 89 that will become part of your portfolio.

In (2016) Railey Yance founded his independent art space Consultoría-Rota until 2018. His works can be found in institutional and private collections. Yance participated in several group and solo exhibitions both locally and internationally, as a solo in "Maczul" (Zulia forma Cannibal (Colombia, 2018), Atelier '89 (Aruba, 2018), Uniarte (Curaçao, 2021).
