The 45 students included talented young people, young adults with the ambition to further study at an art academy, and people from very different backgrounds including Charles Croes, Giovanca Croes (famous celebrities in Aruba), Alydia Wever (dance teacher), Janine Flanegin (professional photographer) and Eefje van der Straten (artist). One of the assignments was to paint a self-portrait. Not one of the physical self, but a portrait of what you see in yourself.
In the exhibition hall, students and volunteers had set up panels on which the drawings and paintings were attached. At the end of the evening, the artist Ryan Oduber showed some film impressions of the origin of the exhibition and a number of his own video images, some of which were made together with students.
